This little gem is compact, has lots of options (JPEG, PDF, lo, med and high resolution) and easy to use. I wanted to scan some hand-written-in -pencil letters and they came out beautifully using the hi resolution setting.

I've had my scanner for about a week and its already become an indispensable tool. I'm a real estate agent and I can now scan documents on the fly then use the wifi to email right from my cell phone without driving to the office to scan. The wifi drains the batteries very quickly which I use sparingly.
The documents I've scanned come out very clear and legible. The photo scans have good detail especially when scanning pictures from a book. Photo quality won't replace a flat bed scanner but the wand is the preferred method if scanning photos from books.
I chose the wifi model due to convenience. It would have been nice to have a display screen to view the scan but wifi is more important. There's a Magic Wand android app that I use to view the image right on my phone. I usually scan the document twice and keep the better scan when I review the images.
It's an added convenience to pop the memory card into my laptop to pull up scanned photos and documents without using the wifi. I don't plan on using the software that came bundled with the wand as I don't need it.
Definitely buy the case to protect your wand. It is much bigger than I had expected but holds the wand securely inside. I was concerned the fit would be too tight from other reviews but I'm able to get the wand out of the case with room for batteries and cord.
A great investment and highly recommended.
